POSCO, CNGR to build $1.2 bn battery materials plants in Korea

They will produce 50,000 tons of nickel sulfate, 110,000 tons of battery precursors, enough for 1.2 million EVs

Jae-Fu Kim and Hyung-Kyu Kim from the Korean Economic Daily refer to the JV created by POSCO Group and CNGR Advanced Material. The 2 companies signed a long-term purchase and sales contract for ternary precursors. They will build a high-nickel cathode factory in Pohang.
